Belgium entry requirements
- When you enter the city before leaving the airport you have to present following documents:
- Your validity of passport should be three months more than your desired stay.
- Unless you are from a visa-exempt country you have to present a valid Schengen visa.
- Purpose of your visit and duration of your stay could also be asked by the border officials.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR Belgium VISITOR VISA
You will have to submit below documents while applying for a Belgium Schengen Visa:
- Visa application form
- Photographs (as specified)
- Passport
- Copies of any previous visa, if applicable
- Preferred language form. You may choose your application to be treated in English, German, Dutch or French.
- Travel Insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000
- A cover letter explaining all the necessary details
- Your flight itinerary specifying the dates of entry and exit from Belgium
- Proof of all the documents specifying your location of stay in Belgium
- Birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate of spouse, divorce certificate (whatever is applicable)
- Proof of having sufficient funds for you throughout journey.
- For those who are employed, you will need your offer letter, bank statements for the last 6 months and income tax documents
- For those who are self-employed, you would need your company license, company bank statements for 6 months and tax documents
