Thailand is known for its stunning beaches, the friendly people, elephants, and for having the yoga-like Thai massage. Other things Thailand is famous for are; delicious food like pad Thai, som tum and mango sticky rice, as well as temples, tuk-tuks, floating markets and full moon parties. Thailand is the only Southeast Asian country never to have been colonized by a European power. It is known for its beautiful nature, delicious mangoes and strict rules about conversations on its monarchy. Thailand is known for fantastic food, martial arts, beaches, and several temples. It also has several well-known islands which have numerous tourist resorts.
Thailand visitor visa details
There are two kinds of visa for travelling to Thailand. One is visa on arrival which allows you to stay in Thailand for the period of 15 days and the other is tourist visa which are applied for 3 months and can be extended up to 6 months of duration.
Visa should be applied before a month of planned departure.
Insufficient and wrong information could lead to rejection of application
All the documents and their copy should be presented at Thai embassy
If asked for additional information all the support should be granted.
Processing time
The minimum processing time for visa application is 5-7 working days.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR Indonesia Tourist visa
- Passport: Original Passport with 2 blank pages and valid for minimum six months at time of travel
- Visa Application Form: A Visa Application Form that is completely filled and signed by the Applicant. (Use only one pen to fill the form; overwriting /using whitener is not allowed)
- Coloured Photograph: Two matt-finished, coloured photographs with white background. It should be an 80% face close up and 35mm x 45mm in size. The photograph should not be older than 3 months. (Tip – Do not wear white-coloured clothes while clicking the photo).
- Cover Letter: From the applicant on the Plain paper stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant. Accommodation address should be mentioned on covering letter.
- Travel Bookings: Confirmed air tickets or booking of air tickets of onward and return
- Hotel Reservation: Proof of Hotel / accommodation, reservation in Thailand with contact number and address of accommodation.
- Financial Document: 06 months Bank Statement with funds not less than 60,000/- INR maintained THROUGHT 06 months with original seal and signature from authorized person of bank
- Others: Contact/Mobile number of the applicant
