France complies with Schengen regulations related to the Schengen area, and issues a short-stay Uniform Schengen visa. (Less than or equal to 90 days)
Processing time
Normally it takes 15-20 days for the processing and verification of your visa application.
In some cases it can extend up to 45-50 days.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR France VISITOR VISA
You would need the following for an Austrian Schengen Visa application:
- A duly completed visitor visa application form.
- A travel document or a valid passport with two blank pages. Its validity should be three months more than your desired stay.
- Colored passport photo (as specified)
- A return flight ticket confirming your return.
- Schengen travel insurance, in case of medical emergency.
- Required documents specifying your place of stay.
- Proof of sufficient funds
- If you are self-employed, you must present a copy of your business license in India. Income tax returns for the past two years and company’s last 3 months bank statement.
- If you own a business in India, you need to present the certificate of registration of the company.
- If you are a student, you must present a copy of the enrolment paper that proves the applicant has planned to study in that school/university.
- If you are employed proof of employment.
- A cover letter explaining purpose of your visit and duration of your stay.
